Summary: has been found on deciduous trees (branches and trunks), conifers (branches) and swept from acid grassland/moorland.

Assocations:

  • Deciduous branches: apple, birch, elder, hawthorn, hazel, oak and sea buckthorn.
  • Deciduous trunks: beech and oak
  • Conifer/evergreen branches: broom, Chinese juniper, juniper, larch, pine and yew.
  • Other microhabitats: bell heather, purple moor-grass and swept beneath hazel.

Sampling techniques: beating branches, brushing tree trunks and sweep netting.
