Summary: usually found on branches of deciduous and coniferous/evergreen trees and bushes.

Associations:

  • Deciduous branches: beech, birch, bird cherry, hawthorn, oak, rowan, sallow and willow.
  • Conifer/evergreen branches: broom, gorse, introduced conifers, larch, pine and yew.
  • Other microhabitats: marram grass.

Sampling techniques: beating branches and sweep netting.
