About the scheme

The scheme welcomes recordings from anglers and anyone else fortunate enough to enjoy the occasional direct sighting of these fascinating members of our fauna. Recently the scheme has been led by Dr Ian Winfield, who stood down in 2024 - many thanks to Ian for his excellent work over may years. We will update this page when a new scheme organiser is able to take this on.

Records of freshwater fish can be added to iRecord, where they will continue be stored and shared more widely.
